Australian Rules Football

The following rules include reasons for voiding bets.

General

Bets will be settled on the official result of the relevant governing body.

Regular season home and away matches will be settled at the end of regular time, with no extra time played. In any competition where the matches include extra time, bets will be settled on the result at the end of extra time.

If the ‘draw’ option is offered, bets will be settled on the result at the end of regular time (excluding extra time). In the event of a draw result where no ‘draw’ option is offered, Dead Heat rules will apply.

If a bet is placed after the relevant result or outcome is known, then the bet will be void.

Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements

If a match is abandoned or postponed and played within 7 days of the original scheduled date, all bets will stand. Once the 7 days have expired, all straight bets will be void, and stakes will be refunded, while affected parlay bets will be recalculated excluding that event or leg.

Non-Runners, Withdrawals and Disqualifications

All bets relating to any individual player will stand if they are listed in any 22-player matchday squad, irrespective of whether they take any part in the match or not. Bets will be void if the selected player is not in the 22-player squad. Head-to-head bets will be void if one or both of the players are not in the 22-player squad.

Goalscorer Markets

Statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be used for payout purposes. For First Goalscorer (Match/First Quarter only), if the selected player is not in the 22-player squad, all bets on that selection will be void. All bets on First Goalscorer in any other quarter stand, regardless of the nominated player being selected as a substitute for their respective team. Bets will be void if no goal is scored within the nominated quarter.

Wooden Spoon

Based on the team which has the fewest wins for the season, including byes. If more than one team has the same number of wins, the position will be determined by For and Against. Points deducted because of breaches of rules and regulations are excluded for resulting purposes.

Miss 4/Miss 8

Any team which has points deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed a starter. If at the time a breach is announced, the loss of points means only one eventually can occur (i.e. Miss the 8 must occur), then all bets on that team will be void. All decisions made by the AFL regarding penalties are final.

Premier State

Bets will be determined by the home state of the team that wins the Grand Final.

Brownlow and Coleman Medals

Bets on Win and Place markets will be paid on first, second and third. In the event of a tie between two or more players, then dead heat rules apply.

SuperCoach Markets

Bets will be settled based on ‘Herald Sun SuperCoach Points’.

Club Best and Fairest

Bets will be settled based on the Official Club Best and Fairest. Betting will close at the conclusion of round 14.

Round Markets

For markets involving all matches in the round, including Over/Under Total Points for All Matches, Winning Margin of Home Teams versus Away Teams, if any match is abandoned or postponed by seven days, then a reduction may be applied.
