The following rules include reasons for voiding bets.

For settlement purposes, the team listed second in the event name is always considered to be the ‘Home Team’ (even if the match takes place at a neutral venue). For example, ‘Team A-Team B’ or ‘Team A At Team B’, Team B is the home team.

All Outright markets include playoffs where applicable.

If the mercy rule is applied, bets will be settled according to the result as determined by the application of the mercy rule.

Unless otherwise stated, the scheduled starting pitchers (‘Listed Pitchers’) are not relevant to any market, and bets on such markets will stand regardless of whether any Listed Pitchers do in fact start.

If there is a double pitching change, where a pitcher is changed but then reinstated, it will be treated as a normal pitching change.

If a match ends in a tie and no extra innings are played, Moneyline betting will be void with all other markets settled as per the result.

For double-headers in the Australian Baseball League (‘ABL’), each of the first matches are 7-inning matches and are priced and settled accordingly. If the first match of a double-header goes to extra innings, causing the second match to be shortened to less than the scheduled 9 innings as a result, all bets on the ‘run line’ and ‘totals runs’ markets for the second match will be void. All Head-to-Head bets on the second match will still stand.

Extra innings, where applicable, count for settlement purposes.

If a bet is placed after the relevant result or outcome is known, then the bet will be void.

If a match does not start on the day of the officially listed start date, as stated by the relevant governing body, due to a rain delay or other similar events, all bets will be void. The day of the event will be considered the day according to the time zone in which the match was scheduled to be played.

If a match starts but is then suspended and continues to a conclusion the following day (local time), then all bets will stand. In the case of a suspended Major League Baseball (‘MLB’) playoff match, all bets will stand until the match is completed.

For MLB and National Collegiate Athletic Association (‘NCAA’) only: In the event of a shortened match, results are official after (and, unless otherwise stated, bets will be settled subject to the completion of) 5 innings of play, or 4.5 innings should the Home Team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 5th innings (the ‘4.5 Innings Rule’). Should a match be called off, if the result is official in accordance with this rule, the winner will be determined by the score after the last full inning completed (unless the Home Team score to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner will be determined by the score at the time the match is suspended). For World Baseball only: In the event of a shortened game, all undecided markets will be void if the match does not resume on the same day regardless of the point of abandonment.

Notwithstanding the above, in certain circumstances where we so specify, results will only be official after (and bets shall be settled subject to the completion of) a minimum of 9 innings play, or 8.5 innings should the Home Team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 9th innings (the ‘8.5 Innings Rule’).

For the purposes of In-Play betting, the 8.5 Innings Rule shall automatically apply unless stated otherwise. However, should a match be shortened due to bad weather or similar, In-Play betting markets which have been unconditionally determined will stand (irrespective of the 8.5 Innings Rule or whether or not an official league result has been confirmed).

For MLB matches scheduled to be only 7 innings at their commencement, normal baseball rules apply with all markets settled as per MLB.com. If a 7-innings match is shortened after the first pitch (i.e. called due to rain) the following settlement rules will apply:

• Moneyline bets will be settled as per the 4.5 Innings Rule; and
• Bets on any other markets (including ‘run line’ and ‘total runs’) will be void unless a minimum of 7 innings’ play, or 6.5 innings should the Home Team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 7th innings, or unless the market has been unconditionally determined.

Settled as per the 4.5 Innings Rule.

Settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule, except when the market has already been unconditionally determined.

For ‘run line’ markets, bets will be void if by adding the bet selection runs to the final score it equals a draw result. For example, a bet is placed on Home Team -1 and the game ends 9-8.

For total runs’ markets, bets will be void if the number of total runs the bet was placed on is equal to the total number of runs scored. For example, a bet is placed on ‘over 8 runs’ and the game ends 6-2.

Settled on the basis of the score at the end of the 5th inning plus the final score as per the 8.5 Innings Rule.

Settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule. If a result of zero is arrived at, it will be considered an even number for settlement purposes.

Settled on the first run of the match (irrespective of whether or not a full match, or a certain number of innings, have been completed). Where a double is offered, the 8.5 Innings Rule applies.

Inclusive of extra innings, settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule. For the purposes of this rule, the first half of a match will be deemed to be the first 5 innings and the second ‘half’ will be deemed to be all other innings which take place during the match (including additional innings). For example, if 11 innings are played, the first half of the match will be deemed to be the first 5 innings and the second half of the match will be deemed to be the last 6 innings.

Settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule. Dead Heat rules apply in the event of a tie. Should the highest scoring inning occur in extra innings, innings 1-9 will be considered losers.

Settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule (unless, in the case of the first score, the result has already been unconditionally determined).

The relevant inning or half inning of the match must be fully completed for bets to stand (unless, in the case of a Total Runs market, the result has already been unconditionally determined).

Bets will be void if the specified inning result is a tie.

The specified number of innings must be completed for bets to stand (unless the Home Team holds the lead and the bottom of the inning would not change the result for team-specific markets).

Bets will be settled following the completion of 5 innings. The 4.5 Innings Rule applies for shortened matches where the results of markets have already been unconditionally determined.

Settled based on the score at the end of the specified period or once the required number of runs have been scored (as applicable).

Settled as per the 8.5 Innings Rule. In the case of specific inning/half inning markets, the stated period must have been completed for bets to stand unless the result has already been unconditionally determined.

A team must play at least 159 matches for ‘regular season wins’ bets to stand. Bets will be void unless already unconditionally determined. Where a specified player is listed under a market pertaining to a certain league/team, he will be deemed a player in that league/team for the purpose of the result regardless of any inter-league/team trade which may occur.

The Listed Pitchers must start, and the player must face at least one at bat for bet to stand (failing which, in each case, bets on this market will be void).

The Listed Pitcher must start for bet to stand. If the opposing Listed Pitcher does not start, then bets will still stand.

Both ‘Listed Pitchers’ must start for bets to stand.
